About

Hands-on software and AI tool reviews, written by someone who actually uses them.

Hi, and welcome to AIToolEdit.

AIToolEdit started for a simple reason: every time I searched for «the best tool for X,» I’d land on pages that clearly hadn’t opened the app they were recommending. Lists ranked by who paid the most, «reviews» that were just rewritten feature pages, and zero honest opinions about what actually works day to day.

This site is my answer to that. Everything you read here comes from genuine hands-on use — installing the tools, pushing them through real work, and reporting what held up and what didn’t.

What AIToolEdit covers

I focus on the software, AI tools, and productivity workflows that help people get actual work done — especially freelancers, small business owners, and remote workers. You’ll find:

  • Honest comparisons of the tools people keep asking about («X vs Y», «best tool for…»).
  • Practical how-tos that solve a specific problem in a few minutes.
  • Buying and pricing guides that tell you whether something is worth the money — and when the free version is enough.
  • AI tool reviews that cut through the hype and tell you what these tools are genuinely good (and bad) at.

How I test and review

I don’t rank tools by affiliate payout. My process is simple: I use the tool for real tasks, compare it against the obvious alternatives, and write up what I’d actually tell a friend. Where a free option does the job, I’ll say so. Where something is overpriced or overhyped, I’ll say that too. If I haven’t tested something thoroughly, I won’t pretend I have.

Software changes fast, so I revisit and update articles when prices, features, or better alternatives appear.

A note on how this site makes money

AIToolEdit is free to read. To keep it that way, the site shows ads and may include affiliate links — meaning I might earn a small commission if you buy through some of the links here, at no extra cost to you. This never changes my opinion or what I recommend. You can read the full details in the Privacy Policy and Terms pages.
